Time
Yesterday was the seasonal end of daylight savings time. I suppose I adjusted two dozen clocks, not to mention the about a dozen (give or take) that adjusted themselves: thank you technology. What is time? I found this:
- 10 best time quotes

- 3. “Time is what we want most but what we use worst.” – William Penn
- 4. “Tough times never last, but tough people do.” – Robert H. Schuller
- 5. “Someday” is a disease that will take your dreams to the grave with you.” – Timothy Ferriss
- 6. “Yesterday’s the past, tomorrow’s the future, but today is a gift. That’s why it’s called the present.” – Bil Keane
- 7. “Better three hours too soon than a minute too late.” – William Shakespeare
- 8. “The past always looks better than it was. It’s only pleasant because it isn’t here.” – Finley Peter Dunne

I also found this: Bible Verses About Time. It is interesting to see what the creator of time has to say about time, as opposed to what the users of his creation say about it. (I have even said something about it previously.) The infinite God, the finite creation. An interesting metaphysical question: Can the finite contain the infinite? I will give you some time to think about that!
So the next time you are adjusting time, remember this from 2 Peter:
Do not forget this one thing, dear friends: For the Lord, one day is like a thousand years, and a thousand years are like one day. The Lord is not slow to do what he promised, as some consider slowness. Instead, he is patient for your sakes, not wanting anyone to perish, but all to come to repentance.
